France’s regulated online betting and iGaming market returned to growth in 2021 as total gross gaming revenue increased by 24 per cent to a record €2.16bn.
Results were buoyed by strong momentum from online sports betting and an 11 per cent increase in total active players to 5.4m, according to French gambling regulator l’Autorité nationale des jeux (ANJ).
