Sports handle in Illinois jumped by 20 per cent to $676.1 million in August, driven by online sports betting in the Prairie State.
Online sports betting was up by 21 per cent to $655.6 million in the month and accounted for 97 per cent of Illinois’s total betting, while retail betting fell by 17 per cent to $20.5 million.
