Sports wagers in Mississippi grew by 20 per cent to $51.6 million in September and were above $50 million for the first time since January.
American football bets were up by 20 per cent to $28.7 million, which was 56 per cent of Mississippi’s monthly total.
Parlay bets were $11.7 million, an increase of 31 per cent. Baseball bets rose by 8 per cent year-on-year to $5.5 million.
