The Illinois Lottery has reported a 6 per cent increase in net income to $882 million for the fiscal year ended 30 June, the highest net income in the lottery's history.
The record performance was driven by multi-state jackpot games Mega Millions and Powerball, with three jackpots surpassing $1 billion during the year.
