Virginia’s sports betting grew by 27 per cent to $520.3 million in September, making it the state’s highest monthly total in 2023.
Online sports betting contributed the vast majority of wagers at $514.7 million, a 25 per cent rise.
Wagers at Virginia’s three casinos were $5.6 million.
Total betting gross win was unchanged at $54.1 million in September at a margin of 10.4 per cent (2022: 13.1 per cent).
