Virginia’s sports wagers rose by 8 per cent to a new monthly high of $571.4 million in October, surpassing $550 million for the first time.
Online sports betting was up by 7 per cent to $565.6 million, and retail betting at Virginia’s casinos brought in $5.8 million.
Virginia’s gross win increased by 25 per cent to $64.0 million thanks to a strong margin of 11.2 per cent (2022: 9.7 per cent).
