Sports wagers in Illinois rose by 13 per cent to $1.16 billion in October, which was a new monthly record for the Prairie State.
Online sports betting was up by 14 per cent to $1.13 billion in October and was the second month in a row with wagers above $1 billion. Retail betting was down by 15 per cent to $34.4 million.
