Sports handle in Mississippi dropped by 34 per cent to $48.9 million in December, up against a particularly strong month in 2022.
Betting on American football was $20.0 million and accounted for 41 per cent of Mississippi’s total wagers.
Basketball bets were $13.1 million and parlay wagers were $11.1 million.
December’s betting margin was 10.0 per cent, down by 5.2 percentage points, and adjusted gross win was 57 per cent lower at $4.9 million.
