The Taiwan Sports Lottery posted a 2 per cent fall in sales to NT$59.27 billion (€1.73 billion) in 2023, which was a good performance up against the FIFA World Cup year of 2022.
December’s sales were down by 64 per cent year-on-year to NT$3.96 billion, compared with a record month in 2022 because of the FIFA World Cup.
December was the only month of 2023 in which the Taiwan Sports Lottery’s sales dipped below NT$4 billion.
