Sports handle in Washington DC was down by 21 per cent to $16.0 million in January, but the lottery’s GambetDC brand had one of its best months.
GambetDC was the clear market leader in January with a 45 per cent share and wagers of $7.2 million. Wagers were down by 18 per cent year-on-year, but it was still GambetDC’s third-best month since launch.
