Virginia’s sports betting sector started 2024 strongly with $652.9 million in handle in January, a 28 per cent rise on last year and a new monthly record.
Online sports betting was up by 26 per cent to a new high of $646.2 million and retail betting at Virginia’s three casinos was $6.6 million.
