New York’s lottery sales were $675.4 million in the four weeks to 30 March 2024, with large jackpots boosting sales of both Powerball and Mega Millions.
Powerball sales were $62.2 million, a rise of 144 per cent, even up against a five-week period of comparison in the previous year.
Mega Millions had sales of $61.6 million, which was an increase of 88 per cent.
