Annual betting turnover in Cyprus topped €1 billion for the first time in 2023, rising by 16 per cent to €1.11 billion.
Both retail betting and online betting performed well during the year, although online continues to eclipse retail.
Retail betting increased by 12 per cent to €310.1 million and online betting had a record year, growing by 17 per cent to €799.1 million.
