Maryland’s sports wagers surpassed $1.5 billion in the first quarter of 2024, after March’s handle grew by 39 per cent to $536.7 million.
Mobile sports betting increased by 41 per cent over March 2023 to $522.1 million, but retail betting declined by 7 per cent to $14.6 million.
FanDuel dominated Maryland’s mobile betting sector during the month with handle of $247.8 million, representing a 48 per cent share.
