Delaware’s regulated sports betting market saw total wagers decline by 35 per cent to $20.0m during the first quarter of 2020, as wagers fell in March due to the temporary closure of the state’s three casinos.
After posting year-on-year declines in January and February, wagers in March fell by 63 per cent to $3.9m as a result of the closure of venues and the cancellation of sports events in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
