Swedish casino games developer NetEnt has partnered legendary American rock band Guns N’ Roses to launch what it claims to be its biggest game production yet.

The branded game, launched simultaneously to mobile and desktop for the European market today, will be the band’s first ever slot release, and has involved a production team almost twice as large as any previous game development.

It will be NetEnt’s first game to be delivered using WebGI and Pixie, a second-generation rendering engine that enables vibrant animations in HTML5, while the company will also be using its in-house audio engine to match animations on beats to music.

“Guns N’ Roses are huge and iconic and it’s great to launch with one of the most legendary rock bands in history,” said Simon Hammon, chief product officer at NetEnt. “We’ve honored them with our most ambitious ever and NetEnt can’t wait for players to have a chance to enjoy the musical game experience.”

Featuring stunning rock music and iconic riffs, NetEnt said that its expert designers and developers have painstakingly created the Guns N’ Roses experience using five of the band's most iconic tracks, Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child O’ Mine, Paradise City, November Rain and Chinese Democracy.

The 20-line slot allows players to set the soundtrack as they experience features such as Encore Free Spins, Legend Spins, Solo Multiplier, “Appetite for Destruction Wild” and a Crowd Pleaser bonus game.

Shares in NetEnt AB (Co. Data) (OMX:NET-B) were trading at SEK429.10 per share in Stockholm earlier Thursday.
