UK bookmaker Ladbrokes has claimed another industry-first with the launch of Edit My Acca, which has been developed with support from Playtech and Openbet.

The Edit My Acca feature allows customers to make changes to their football accumulator while the matches are in progress.

In addition to being able to track the progress of their selections as the matches unfold, cash out and view potential winnings all in real-time, customers can now remove unsettled legs from their football accumulators.

So, if one match looks to be heading in the wrong direction Ladbrokes' digital customers can simply delete that selection from their overall bet.

Ladbrokes’ head of digital product Dipen Nagda commented: "Football accumulators are by far the most popular sports multiple. We already offer an industry-leading insurance offer and acca tracking service.

“By launching Edit My Acca we are providing customers with another unique and highly engaging feature, giving them more control.”

Playtech worked closely with Ladbrokes to conceptualise, develop and - in collaboration with Openbet - implement this exclusive functionality, ensuring it met the operator's individual criteria to enhance its customers' sports betting experience.

Playtech Sports’ strategic advisor Ian Chuter said: "This is a real game changer. If one or two legs of your acca aren’t doing so well you can remove them and extend your chances of winning, all while matches are in progress."

OpenBet CEO Jeremy Thompson-Hill added: “OpenBet is committed to leading the way in sports betting innovation, and Edit My Acca is the latest exciting new product to be seamlessly integrated via our platform.

“Ladbrokes’ customers will love the new feature, which gives them greater flexibility on their accas, and we look forward to working alongside our partners on more innovative sportsbook products in the future.”
