This week has seen new slot games released by industry giants Playtech and Microgaming, while the likes of Habanero, Play’n GO and NYX completed new integrations.

Gaming technology provider Playtech has unveiled a new Norse-themed slot game, Ice Cave.

The game takes players back to the age of the Vikings with the five-reel, 20-line slot game featuring a host of bonus features.

Players can freeze Ice Wilds across the reels for cool combinations and triple wild wins on any spin for a chance to win cash prizes. Players watch as the Hammer Wilds invade the reels, smashing into action and thawing any frozen wilds to boost pay outs by up to three times.

Landing five bearded Viking symbols in a row offers the chance to win 250 times the line bet.

“Ice Cave is a truly legendary title powered by a popular Viking theme and bursting with exciting features that are certain to keep players entertained,” Playtech casino director James Frendo said.

“We are committed to providing the most extensive and dynamic suite of best-performing casino slot games from tried and tested classics to new, innovative products, and we are confident that Ice Cave will not only be a big hit across the Nordic market, but also around the world.”

Novomatic's iGaming division Greentube has expanded its games offering with the launch of the latest Novomatic title repurposed for online play.

The company has launched Amazon's Diamonds online, a 5-reel, 30-line game that takes players into the world of the Amazon rainforest, offering incredible fun with female warriors and huge treasures.

In Amazonʼs Diamonds, players face a wild panther and four ladies who are in charge of the reels. The aim with the mighty quartet is to land five identical symbols side by side, while free games grant players access to treasure chambers packed with diamonds.

The Amazon's Diamond is presented as the Wild symbol that substitutes for all symbols of the game except the scattered Red Ball. The Scatter is also stacked and only lands on reels two to four. Seven to nine Scatters on reels two, three and four triggers up to 30 free games.

Isle of Man-based Microgaming has released two new games, Six Acrobats and Sugar Parade, which will be followed by the sequel to the popular Castle Builder online slot game later this month.

Six Acrobats is a five reel, nine-line game that brings the thrill and wonder of a Chinese acrobatic show to players. The games features a fire eater, knife thrower, balancing acrobat, Chinese Yo Yo and a multi-plate spinning girl.

The game includes a 5x multiplier for wild symbols in the base game and a 25x multiplier for wild symbol wins in free spins. The Golden Queen scatter, represented by Guanyin, grants players good fortune the more she appears. Three or more of these scatter symbols will award 15, 20 or 25 free spins, during which each scatter symbol that lands awards one extra free spin.

Sugar Parade is a five reel, 15-line slot which comes jam-packed with vibrant characters, a catchy soundtrack, wilds and scatter symbols that can trigger 10 free spins where all wins are tripled. Players can also claim their fortune with the Queen’s Royal Bonus, where they can choose up to five tantalising treats for guaranteed wins.

In Castle Builder ll, a five-reel, 15-payline slot, players choose between three avatars, each with their own storyline and bonus features. Players can explore 15 kingdoms ranging from peaceful provinces, snowy mountains, wild jungles and vast deserts, through the gates of hell to finally reach the skies.

Players collect the finest building material to build 75 castles, interact with over 300 characters, earn trophies and unlock more than 100 achievements.

Featuring expanding wilds, free spins, wild symbols and bonus games, the game is a sequel to the popular Castle Builder online slot released more than four years ago. It will be rolled out for Microgaming and Quickfire partners on July 19th.

“Once again we are delivering a real mix of games to the market, distributing titles that will appeal to different audiences,” said David Reynolds, games publisher at Microgaming. “Six Acrobats pays respect to the wonderful skill of acrobatics, with animations designed to emulate movements seen in Chinese shadow puppet theatre, and low symbols hand-calligraphed by artists.”
