This week’s games round-up features new slots from Microgaming, Quickspin and Booming Games, alongside integrations for Yggdrasil, NetEnt, Wazdan and Helio Gaming.


Isle of Man-based supplier Microgaming is conjuring up magical rewards with its latest release Rainbrew.

Developed by games studio Just For The Win, Rainbrew is a five reel, 243 ways online slot which boasts up to 1125 ways with its unique Sidewinder feature, available exclusively to Microgaming.

Using the top and bottom horizontal reels, the feature fills them with wild and Rainbrew free spins symbols. There are three different wild symbols in the game, including a regular wild and two wilds that link to the Sidewinder feature.

Each of the wilds connect with one of the horizontal reels, activating either the top or bottom horizontal reel and triggering more regular wild symbols to appear, increasing the number of ways to win.

Playtech-owned Swedish slots specialist Quickspin has revamped its popular Hidden Valley game to provide players with more immersive gameplay.

A major hit when first released in 2015, Hidden Valley now features improved HTML5 technology that delivers imagery at 60 frames per second.

The five-reel, 40-payline title offers an array of treasures during the player’s journey, including multiplier wilds and a legendary Free Spins feature, triggered when three or more bonus symbols appear anywhere on the reels.

Game development studio Yggdrasil has secured an agreement to supply its slots to casino operator Genting UK.

The operator’s site will offer its players Yggdrasil’s full games catalogue, including the successful Vikings series.

Genting will also benefit from Yggdrasil’s proprietary suite of in-game promotional tools BOOST, providing in-game tournaments and leader boards, configurable cash races, and gamification features to increase player retention and engagement.

The operator is expected to integrate further products from Yggdrasil as the partnership evolves.

Stockholm-listed casino games developer NetEnt has rolled out a range of slots for the newly opened Ocean Resort Casino in New Jersey.

After a successful technical integration, a broad selection of NetEnt’s popular games are now available to Ocean Resort’s online players, with additional titles being rolled out over the coming weeks.

In the coming months, NetEnt’s entire portfolio of online casino games will be made available to Ocean Resort via the GAN platform, which is powering the venue’s online offering.

Booming Games

Malta-based games developer Booming Games is showing players the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas with its latest slot release.

Las Vegas VIP is a 30 line, 5x3 game which features Scatter Wins, Random Credit Awards, Freespins and the possibility to win up to €10,000.

Malta-licensed operator Rabbit Entertainment has expanded its offering with a range of games from supplier Wazdan.

Lapalingo has gone live with Wazdan's portfolio of over 110 slots, including recent releases Great Book of Magic Deluxe, Magic of the Ring Deluxe, Magic Stars 3, and Fruit Mania Deluxe.

Helio Gaming

Malta-based lottery supplier Helio Gaming has signed a deal to integrate its games with Kenya-based operator Lotto Joto.

Helio will provide the operator with its portfolio of lottery games, including its flagship game Lotto Hero, alongside a range of localised features for the African market.

“I’m very pleased to announce our partnership with Lotto Joto, and I am confident their customers will enjoy playing our games,” said Helio Gaming CEO Richard Mifsud. “We have extremely ambitious plans for expansion in Africa, which has a number of markets well suited to our innovative lottery products.
