Industry veterans unveil AI Gaming Forum to connect founders, operators and investors shaping the next era of regulated gaming

Winna Media and SO Events have announced the launch of the AI Gaming Forum (AIGF): Native AI in Regulated Markets, a new industry event focused on the intersection of artificial intelligence and iGaming.

The forum brings together founders, operators and investors to address the realities of building, deploying and funding AI in regulated markets.

Taking place on 12 May 2026 at the London offices of Mishcon de Reya, AIGF has been created by industry veterans Rosalind Wade and Shona ODonnell in response to fragmentation between innovation, capital and execution across the European gaming ecosystem.

“AI is no longer theoretical for gaming – it’s operational, regulated and investable,” said Shona ODonnell, co-founder of AIGF. “This forum is about moving beyond hype to real deployment, real governance and real value creation.”

AIGF focuses on native AI in regulated environments, exploring how frontier technologies can be responsibly adopted at scale. The event brings together:

  • Pre-revenue and fundraising AI startups
  • Gaming operators and suppliers
  • Angel investors, family offices, gaming funds and VCs

Programme Highlights:

The conference opens with a keynote on the future of large language models and agent networks, examining why the industry is moving beyond “bigger is better” AI architectures towards orchestration-led systems.

Operator-led sessions will explore the realities of deploying AI at scale — from data readiness and security to compliance and value realisation – followed by panels on digital transformation and Future of Work, regulation and ethical AI.

The afternoon features two dedicated tracks:

  • Operations & Implementation, covering AI in game development, marketing, affiliates, compliance and sustainability
  • Investors & Founders, examining fundraising strategy, valuation, AI-driven due diligence and the evolving role of capital in an AI-first world

The day concludes with an AI Pitch Competition, giving founders the opportunity to present directly to investors and industry leaders.
