Online gaming operator bwin.party digital entertainment has paid a total of $15m to cover pre-UIGEA online gambling losses for players in the US state of Kentucky, concluding the final legal case against the operator in the country.
A spokesman for the Gibraltar-licensed firm said in a statement that the settlement “resolves the only remaining litigation involving the company” from its operations in the US prior to 2006.
