NSW Australia to introduce new penalties on match-fixing

New South Wales will become the first state in Australia to introduce tough new match-fixing legislation to protect the integrity of sports, with anyone found guilty of match-fixing or corrupting the betting outcome of a sporting event punishable by a maximum penalty of ten years imprisonment.
