France dismisses poker liquidity sharing

Social and skill games could be regulated in France after an amendment to the country’s consumer bill passed through the National Assembly, while a second amendment to allow international poker liquidity sharing was rejected.

An amendment to Article L322-2 of the French constitution expanded the definition of games of chance to include “any offering that would suggest the hope of winning, even at random and which requires financial sacrifice on the part of the participants.”
