Betclic Everest win sees PMU commit to liquidity separation

European online gaming operator Betclic Everest Group has won a long-running anti-competition dispute that will see rival French operator Pari-Mutuel Urbain (PMU) separate its online horse race betting liquidity from its retail monopoly in France.

Proceedings initiated by Betclic Everest in France’s Competition Commission were concluded today (Tuesday), with PMU formally committing to separating the businesses by September 30th next year.
