A review into the policy of the UK government towards fixed-odds betting terminals (FOBTs) has proposed a number of restrictions and new controls on machine usage as part of a cautionary approach to tackling the issue of player protection.
The publication of the review has coincided with further policy reviews being conducted by the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) and UK Gambling Commission.
