Long-term financial targets remain unchanged but softer market conditions impact company’s Q3 revenue growth

Shares in Hacksaw slumped more than 27 per cent in Stockholm Monday morning after the slot developer revealed that revenue growth in the third quarter of 2026 was below its historical growth rate.

In a preliminary update released this morning, Hacksaw said that Q3 revenue was expected to be between €57.5 million and €58.5 million, an increase of around 11 to 12 per cent compared to the same period last year.

Adjusted operating profit for the quarter is expected to be between €48 million to €49 million, with an adjusted operating margin of 83 percent (Q3 2025: 81 percent), which corresponds to an increase of between 14 to 16 per cent.

Hacksaw noted that the revenue growth was below its historical growth pace, reflecting softer market conditions and game performance that was lower than previous quarters.

“Growth in the third quarter of 2026 was more moderate than during our recent history,” said Hacksaw group CEO Ana Vrabic Verdir. “At the same time, we continue to expand our customer base through new signings and focus on extending our reach into additional markets with our existing customers.

“Our commercial momentum remains strong, and our development team is well positioned to continue delivering the quality content we are known for. We look forward to discussing the quarter in more detail in connection with our interim report that is expected to be published on 3 November 2026.”

Hacksaw said it is looking to expand its portfolio through new and existing OpenRGS partnerships and is in dialogue with potential Hacksaw Venture partners. The supplier is also exploring new verticals, including a recently launched crash game towards the end of the third quarter.

Last week, Hacksaw expanded its reach in the Czech Republic through a new partnership with Sazka Hry, a brand of Allwyn Česko.

“Combining the heritage and trust of the Sazka brand with Allwyn’s international expertise, Sazka Hry has established itself as a leading force in the Czech online casino market,” said Lukáš Bouzek, head of casino product of Sazka Hry. “Through a strategy focused on exclusive content, premium player experiences, and long-term innovation, Sazka Hry has built the market’s strongest portfolio of proprietary and exclusive games.

“This unique offering, together with local market expertise and a commitment to responsible gaming, positions Sazka Hry as the benchmark for online casino entertainment in the Czech Republic.”

Marcus Cordes, operational CEO of Hacksaw, added: “Sazka Hry is one of the most established names in Czech gaming, which makes this one of our most significant placements in the region. We’re looking forward to building on this partnership in Central Europe.”

Shares in Hacksaw AB (STO:HACK) were trading 27.24 per cent lower at SEK59.40 per share in Stockholm following the announcement Monday.
