Indiana Governor Mike Pence has vetoed a bill that would have legalised Advance Deposit Wagering (ADW) in the state, while allowing two other gaming-related bills to pass into law without his signature.
Governor Pence vetoed HEA1270, which would have allowed companies to secure approval to launch ADW, paying a 20 per cent tax on activities to fund the state’s meat and poultry fund, with 50 per cent distributed to horsemen’s associations.
