The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced that it will withhold its funding from SportAccord, the umbrella organisation for 105 Olympic and non-Olympic international sports federations, whose president Marius Vizer resigned last month.
The IOC has voted to suspend recognition of SportAccord following the “serious internal problems” at the organisation which culminated in the departure of Vizer last month.
