Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance has introduced a new bill to legalise and regulate gambling across the country, including online casino and sports betting.
The ministry said the legislation is aimed at maintaining the rights and legitimate interests of Ukrainian citizens, and will lift the prohibition on gambling which was introduced in 2009 in response to concerns about the rise of gambling addiction.
