Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood has become the latest to issue an opinion on daily fantasy sports contests, ruling that the offering is illegal in the state under current law.
It follows similar opinions by the AGs of Hawaii, Texas, New York, and Illinois, and follows a request from the Mississippi Gaming Commission (MGC).
