Danish poker players have begun the new year with some cheer after the government there enacted a new law legalising land-based poker tournaments from January 1st 2010.
The Danish parliament adopted the Ministry of Justice bill on public poker tournaments in December, citing the need to cater to public demand while at the same time ensuring adequate protection for consumers.
