Cricket South Africa (CSA) has banned four professional cricket players, including one former international, for their involvement in a match-fixing scandal during last year’s Twenty20 competition.
CSA, the governing body of cricket in South Africa, said that the four players had breached its Anti-Corruption Code for Personnel. This followed a lengthy investigation led by David Becker, independent attorney and former ICC head of legal, and Louis Cole, head of CSA’s Anti-Corruption Unit.
