UKGC charges two individuals with promoting gambling on video games

In the first case of its kind, the UK Gambling Commission has charged two men for their involvement in a website which it says invited children to gamble.

Following an investigation into videogame gambling, the UK regulator has charged Dylan Rigby and FIFA YouTuber Craig Douglas with alleged offences contrary to the Gambling Act 2005.

This includes the provision of facilities for gambling (Rigby), advertising unlawful gambling (both defendants), and inviting children to gamble (Douglas).
