The body tasked with preserving the integrity of professional tennis has revealed that it received 96 suspicious betting alerts during the third quarter of 2016, including two at Grand Slam tournaments Wimbledon and the US Open.
The Tennis Integrity Unit (TIU) said that over the three month period 35,041 professional tennis matches were played, with alerts generated from 0.27 per cent of these games.
