London-listed gaming company Sportech says it expects to increase the number of wagering venues it can operate in Connecticut following the passage of new legislation.
Connecticut lawmakers recently passed the Regional Economic Development Act which will allow Sportech to increase its venues in the state from 18 to 24.
The legislation has cleared both houses and comes into force within 15 days of being presented to Governor Dannel Malloy, although he retains a right of veto.
