Maine has become the fifteenth US state to regulate daily fantasy sports (DFS) after Governor Paul LePage allowed legislation to pass into law without his signature.
Senator Roger Katz introduced SP0449 in April of this year, securing House approval in June and Senate approval in July. With Governor LePage declining to approve or veto the bill, it has now automatically passed into law.
