Spanish parliament to debate sports betting addiction

Spain's Congress of Deputies will debate a series of proposals designed to strengthen protections against problem gambling.

The measures are part of a non-legislative proposal introduced by Spanish conservative party Partido Popular, based on a report conducted by the country’s Family Studies Institute, known as the Family Watch, which claims that pathological gambling among young people has grown.
