Australia’s new gambling ad rules for live-streamed sport begin in September

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has approved new rules that come into force on September 28th, prohibiting gambling advertising around live-sport streams on the internet during the daytime.

The new rules prohibit gambling advertising during live sport that is streamed online between 5.00 am and 8.30 pm, with restrictions on gambling advertising at all other times.
