A report detailing the findings of a parliamentary investigation into fixed-odds betting terminals has provoked a furious response from the Association of British Bookmakers (ABB), which has condemned the inquiry as a "front for vested commercial interests".

The ABB is calling for an urgent inquiry by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards into the All-Party Parliamentary Group's (APPG) investigation into FOBTs and its recommendation that maximum FOBT stakes be slashed from £100 to just £2.
