Montana Governor Steve Bullock has approved legislation authorising the state lottery to offer sports betting.
The Sports Wagering Lottery Amendment of 2019 was signed into law Friday, allowing the lottery to offer sports betting at licensed retail locations and online, with the lottery required to issue administrative rules and implement sports betting within one year.
