Democratic US presidential contender Senator Elizabeth Warren has joined forces with Republican Senator Steve Daines to introduce legislation aimed at combatting problem gambling within the US military.
The proposed legislation is in response to research which suggests that as many as 56,000 servicemembers meet the criteria for problem gambling, with US service men and women losing $100m in 2018 on over 3,000 slot machines located at overseas bases.
