North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper signed legislation Friday authorising sports and horse race betting on tribal lands.
The legislation was first introduced in early March and allows up to three tribal casinos to provide Class III gaming activities such as gaming machines, live table games, video games, and horse race and sports betting to patrons who are physically present on tribal lands.
