Danish government to raise iGaming tax to 28% from 2021

Licensed online casino and sports betting operators in Denmark will have to pay significantly higher taxes from 2021.

Following days of negotiations, Denmark’s Social Democrat-led government has secured the backing of the Red-Green Alliance, Socialist People's Party, Danish Social Liberal Party and Alternative Party to increase the tax paid by licensed sports betting and online casino operators.
