Newspaper editors finally cleared in gambling ads case

Sweden’s Court of Appeal (Svea Hovrätt) has today dismissed all charges against the former editors of two of the county’s leading daily newspapers who were charged with crimes against the Lottery Act.

The former editors of Expressen and Aftonbladet, Otto Sjöberg and Anders Gerdin, had previously been found guilty of breaching Sweden's Lottery Act which prohibits media from carrying advertising for foreign gambling companies.
