Sydney-listed sports betting operator PointsBet is set to go live in Illinois next month in partnership with Hawthorne Race Course.
PointsBet was awarded a temporary operating permit by the Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) in July and is now cleared to launch retail and online sportbooks in the state after the IGB awarded a master sports wagering license to its local partner Hawthorne Race Course on July 30.
