Britain’s gambling operators face a significant increase in licensing costs under new legislation that will come into force before 1 October.
The increase in licence fees and elimination of certain discounts follows a public consultation into the Gambling Commission’s funding structure and costs and will enable the Commission to better regulate the remote and non-remote gambling sectors.
