Australian sports betting operator Bluebet Holdings lost more than 20 per cent of its share value Monday after confirming the withdrawal of its license application in the US state of Virginia.
The decision to withdraw the application follows advice from the Virginia regulator, which stated that with 18 applications received for five available licenses, priority would be given to operators with experience in other US states and those with an equity interest owned by minority individuals [...]
