The Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick, Canada, has issued its first iGaming license to gaming supplier SOFTSWISS.
The Tobique First Nation has a population of approximately 2,700 and entered the online gaming arena in October after enacting the Tobique Gaming Act 2023.
This law established the Tobique Gaming Commission, which has authority to license online gaming companies to operate from within Tobique sovereign territory.
