Casino games supplier Playson has secured a B2B supplier licence in Peru’s newly regulated iGaming market.

The approval from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) allows Playson to provide its portfolio of games to licensed operators in the country, subject to relevant game certifications and technical audits.

“As we seek to bring more engaging experiences to players in new markets, obtaining a licence in Peru is a significant strategic move,” said Playson chief commercial officer Tamas Kusztos. “The market stands out as one of the most promising in the LatAm region and we look forward to establishing a prominent position in the country.”

The Peru approval adds to Playson’s six other licences in the United Kingdom, Romania, Greece, Ontario (Canada), Sweden and Singapore, as well as a recognition notice from Malta’s MGA.
