Ohio’s licensed betting operators are no longer allowed to offer player-specific proposition bets on intercollegiate athletics competitions.
The ban aims to better protect student-athletes following a rise in harassment by bettors, and was introduced on Friday (Feb. 23) in response to a request by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
